"Promocja na przytulanie" in Teatr Syrena
The new form of musical, i.e. the micromusical "Promocja na przytulanie" is the first experiment
of this kind on the music scene in Warsaw. The direct inspiration was the extremely interesting report
by Oktawia Kromer "Usługa czysto platoniczna" ("The Purely Platonic Service").
Penetrating the stories of clients of the "professional cuddler", director Tobiasz Sebastian Berg
talks about a lonely society; lack of closeness; the need to touch, which is teased by shame and
even fear. The text was written by Ewa Mikuła. Wonderful music was composed by Dawid Majewski.
The costumes were prepared by Edyta Jermacz. Lucy Sosnowska supervised the implementation.
